Log Bar training is an essential part of Strongman training and competitions. The Strongman origin started in the early 19th century where circus performers displayed various feats of strength to impress the crowd. Today, Strongman has evolved into a sport in and of itself where some of the strongest athletes in the world compete. The Log Bar is a primary tool in these events where competitors move the heaviest weight possible.
The ISF Log Bar comes in five weights:
- 25KG-55LB with a 9" barrel
- 30KG-66LB with a 9" barrel
- 35KG-77LB with a 9" barrel
- 40KG-88LB with a 13" barrel
- 50KG-110LB with a 13" barrel.
Each Log Bar has recessed neutral grip handles with 2" loadable sleeves perfect to fill with olympic bumper plates or any cast iron olympic plate.
Cut from one piece heavy duty steel, the ISF Log Barbell construction is sturdy and the powder coated finish allows for a superior attractive look. Sleeve end caps are one piece construction with no plastic insert that will fall out over time. The neutral recessed grip allows for a shoulder pain free clean, jerk, or press by lowering the stress on your joints.
