NON-ABRASIVE:  DKL Skateboard Griptape won't rip your shoes because it's made from rubber. Just imagine trying to rip your left shoe with the rubber sole of your right shoe.

GRIPPINESS:  There are many different ways to provide friction. For example, an indoor gym court and an outdoor basketball court both provide the same friction, but one is abrasive and the other is smooth and glossy. While sandpaper uses abrasion, DKL Griptape uses frictional forces such as molecular adhesion and the plowing effect and is similar to the rubber found on ping pong paddles.
